ATP Atelier, aka All Tomorrow’s Parties, is a footwear and accessories brand specializing in what the brand calls the “urban sandal” – a super minimal style with a contemporary Scandinavian vibe. Celebrating 10 years in business, these sandals proved popular, as did the line of handbags that also grew along the way – all of which are handcrafted and inspired by the laid-back Puglia lifestyle. .

To celebrate the 10th anniversary and all things Puglia, ATP Atelier co-founder and creative director Maj-La Pizzelli shares her hotspots from the region.
Shop: Bottega Ceramica Di Fasano Antonio
The town of Grottaglie is a ceramic lover’s dream in Puglia and definitely worth a visit. The typical ceramic dishes of the city are very focused on kitchen utensils and everyday objects, simple but so beautiful. They are created to adapt to a very family way of eating together. Some of my favorite pieces are common serving bowls where pasta for the whole family will fit.

Stay: Masseria Moroseta
This is a modern farmhouse overlooking Ostuni and the sea, set in 5 hectares of organic olive groves. Masseria Moroseta is the epitome of relaxation and rural simplicity. The aesthetic is very modern for Puglia, it’s traditional Italian with influences from Scandinavian minimalism. They bring people together over food and host community dinners where all the guests eat together.

Culture: City of Lecce
The architecture of Lecce is incredible. It is a Baroque jewel and certainly the best expression of this architectural style in all of Italy. So if that’s something you enjoy, there are so many great sights to see as you walk around Lecce.

To eat: Bros. Trattoria
Run by iconic couple Floriano Pellegrino and Isabella Potí, Roots Trattoria is a unique dining experience where you eat in a beautifully manicured garden, planted with olive trees and accented with subtle lighting, wooden tables and straw chairs.
Bar: Farmacia Balboa
This is one of my favorite bars in Tricase. It is an old pharmacy (hence its name) transformed into a bar. Their philosophy is to use local ingredients and the best organic products from selected farmers. I come here for the drinks but also for the atmosphere.
Mark: Rose window of the cathedral of Otranto
The rose window of the Cathedral of Otranto is an emblematic monument of Salento. This cathedral actually houses a rather morbid and disturbing altar of human skulls. Another famous feature of the cathedral is the 12th century floor mosaic.

Relax: Maestrale Bar
The port of Otranto is busy at night. There are a myriad of restaurants and bars to choose from and explore. The historic port of Otranto has been in use since ancient times, so it’s also a sight to behold, so to speak.

Beach: Porto Miggiano
This is a free beach where you have to come down from the cliffs and bring your own umbrella so you can stay out of the sun. The water here is unbeatable, so definitely worth the trip.

Favorite place: Gallipoli sunset
It can’t be beat – it’s a perfect way to end the day, overlooking the ocean. As you walk along the beach, you will come across a variety of different artisans. We met a man here, making wooden fish traps. They were so beautiful that we bought a few and reused them as lampshades for our kitchen.
